Our 2020 Dogtown 5 Mile Trail Run will have a bit of a makeover this year! We are starting it out of Rockport this year (no neighboring sportsman club for better ambiance.) Our friends from Team Gloucester have scouted out a great new route and we are excited to announce the date of Saturday, May 30! Same start time - 9AM. We are super excited for a great turnout this year! Spread the word! More details to come very soon.
On Sunday, October 13, 35 hikers joined Cape Ann Trail Stewards and the Sunday Morning Hiking group for a 5 hour hike across Cape Ann. Hikers began their hike at Cape Hedge Beach in Rockport and ended at Halibut State Park. This hike was in honor of passed board member, Ted Tarr.
Just a reminder about the hunting season - don't forget to wear orange and be safe! Check with local organizations and municipalities about their hunting policies on protected land. We are in Zone 10.
Our 2nd Dogtown 5 Mile Trail Run this past weekend was a huge hit! The weather cooperated and we had a great group of nearly 100 runners join us this year. Results can be found here. We are already getting excited for next year's race! Reach out if you'd like to help out!
