3rd Annual Ted Tarr Memorial Cross Cape Ann Hike

Join Cape Ann Trail Stewards for a hike across Cape Ann through its interior trail system.  This is NOT for novice hikers -this is a 5 hour hike through some challenging terrain.  The hike will start at 9:00 AM, so please arrive at 8:45 am.   Parking will be at the Cape Hedge Beach Parking Lot (please park at far left end of lot), at the end of Seaview Street, which is off Thatcher Rd. (Route 127A) in Rockport. The hike ends at Halibut Point State Park.  This annual cross Cape Ann hike was established by Ted Tarr, a beloved past board member of Cape Ann Trail Stewards, and Cape Ann local.  In 2019, we renamed  this annual hike in Ted's memory.  The hike takes 5 hours and you are responsible for the return to your car.  We will stop midway (at the iconic Whale's Jaw boulder) for lunch -- please bring a picnic lunch for yourself.  Please RSVP for further details.  You will receive notifications of cancelation due to weather and other updates.
