Join Cape Ann Trail Stewards for a cross Cape Ann hike. This is NOT for novice hikers -this is a 5 hour hike through some challenging terrain. The hike will start at 9:00 AM, so please arrive at 8:45 am. Parking will be at the Cape Hedge Beach Parking Lot (please park at far left end of lot), at the end of Seaview Street, which is off Thatcher Rd. (Route 127A) in Rockport. The hike ends at Halibut Point State Park. This cross Cape Ann hike was established by Ted Tarr, a beloved passed board member of Cape Ann Trail Stewards, and Cape Ann local. We are naming this hike in honor of Ted Tarr...the 1st annual Ted Tarr Cross Cape Ann Walk. The hike takes 5 hours and you are responsible for the return to you car. Please RSVP for further details. You will receive notifications of cancelation due to weather and other updates.
Pre-registration screening will go out ahead of time in accordance with COVID safety guidelines. This hike will be limited in size and masks and social distancing are required.
